Participants must acknowledge the inherent risks associated with SUP and being on the water and act in their own best interests.
Participants should be made aware that SUP is a watersport so there is a likelihood that falling into the water may occur. If a participant has a fear of falling-in or of deep water, please advise the Instructor before the lesson commences.
All lessons & experiences are solely for Adults 18+.
Participants must observe all the safety regulations set out by Moi’s SUP School Instructors and wear buoyancy aids supplied by Moi’s SUP School at all times.
When launching and landing only use designated areas shown by your instructor.
Loss or breakage of equipment during a session will be charged to the participant at full retail value unless due to fair wear and tear.
The consumption of drugs and alcohol prior or during the booking is forbidden. Moi’s SUP School reserves the right to assess an individual’s capability and cancel the booking with immediate effect if it is felt the participant is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. No refund will be offered. It is a legal requirement of our licence.
Please respect the Instructors with courtesy. Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated and participants will be asked to leave the lesson/experience with immediate effect.
If you are partaking in a SUP Experience led by Moi’s SUP School and are using your own equipment, you must abide by the Instructor’s directions and wear at all times a CE compliant buoyancy aid of minimum 50N. Individual paddlers must also possess and be prepared to disclose personal liability insurance and appropriate waterways licence.
All bookings will be confirmed on receipt of full payment at time of booking.

Each booking will incur a statutory 6% card transaction handling fee. This may be subject to change but notification will be made.
Cancellations must be made in writing (WhatsApp/SMS/Messenger/Email).
All Lessons & Experiences will commence strictly on time. We will not accept late arrivals as this directly affects our essential safety briefings & instruction. Please be respectful of other guests in your lesson/experience & allow yourself sufficient travel time. We strongly advise that you arrive for your lesson/experience at least 15 mins before scheduled time to allow for admin/changing. Late arrivals & no-shows will constitute a cancellation & will not receive a refund.
Moi’s SUP School reserves the right to cancel any booking at short notice, either due to unfavourable and unsafe weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Participants should be aware that this can occur on the same day of lesson/experience and will be contacted as soon as possible via details supplied at time of booking. Where possible, an alternative location will be proposed. However if this is not possible, a full refund or alternative date will be given.
All participants will be required to complete the health declaration form at time of booking. Full, honest disclosure is required and participants will only be allowed onto the water once a health declaration form has been completed and submitted. If full disclosure is not given and only comes to light once lesson/experience has commenced, and if it is deemed unsafe for the participant to continue, Moi’s SUP School reserves the right to ask participant to leave the lesson/experience with no refund given.
If participant is in any doubt as to their health & wellbeing to paddle board, they must consult with their doctor and obtain appropriate note to proceed.
You must be confident in the water and able to swim 25 metres.
Our paddle boards have a recommended rider weight capacity of 120kg/18 stone. If it is deemed unsafe for a participant to continue due to board instability, Moi’s SUP School will request participant leave the lesson/experience. A 50% refund will be given.
On arrival, all participants must advise of any health conditions (such as asthma) that require medication to be taken onto the water. Medications (eg. inhalers) must be handed over to the Instructor before commencement of lesson/experience with clear instructions as to nature of medication and usage. The Instructor will keep it on their person in waterproof pouch for the duration of the lesson/experience and return to participant at closure.
Moi’s SUP School reserves the right to refuse any booking on medical grounds if the medical condition is considered to be detrimental to the safety and smooth running of the lesson/experience.

Paddle boarding is an active sport and participants will be required to self-rescue (re-mount board from water) and comfortably move from kneeling to standing-up. All lessons will commence with participants initially paddling on their knees before progressing to standing-up on their feet.
If a participant is unable to self-rescue or finds discomfort transitioning from kneeling to standing-up whilst in a group lesson, this could affect the enjoyment of group participants and they may be asked to leave the lesson with no refund given. A subsequent private 1:1 lesson will be recommended to ensure that the participant is safe and comfortable on the water at an additional cost.
Throughout each lesson/experience, Moi’s SUP School will take photos and videos for marketing purposes, with images published daily on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Participants are welcome to download and share images of their lesson/experience.
Moi’s SUP School reserves the right to use all images across several marketing channels, including but not limited to our website, social media channels, marketing collateral, promotional material emails and other marketing activities. Please advise Instructors if you do not wish to be photographed.
All staff associated with Moi’s SUP School are insured against accident and third party liability. Personal liability insurance against injury, accident or loss whilst taking part in any activity is the responsibility of the participant.
Moi’s SUP School will not be liable for any death, personal injury or loss of or damage to goods, arising from the sessions by them unless that death, personal injury or loss of, or damage to goods arises directly from an act of omission on the part of Moi’s SUP School or its instructors.
Moi’s SUP School does not have any responsibility whatsoever for loss or damage to a participants personal belongings. Any personal property taken onto the water is at participants own risk.
Moi’s SUP School does not have any responsibility for the damage or theft of vehicles and their contents whilst at location.
Gift vouchers are non-transferable and have no expiry date. Should there be a price increase between purchase & activity booking, Moi's SUP School will cover the difference in price.
